Mental Health means striking a balance in all aspects of one's life: social, physical, spiritual, economic and mental. At times, the balance may be tipped too much in one direction and as a result, your sense of wellbeing may be off. At such times, one's footing has to be found again. Everyone's personal balance is unique and the challenge is to stay mentally healthy by keeping the right balance...that fits for you and your lifestyle.
The Canadian Mental Health Association defines Mental Health as: knowing and accepting yourself, understanding what makes you happy, building meaningful relationships, coping with problems of day-to-day living and having a sense of humor.
Mental health is as important as physical health.
