CMHA, Halton Region Branch is a branch of a national, voluntary non-profit association that was established in 1918, and we are dedicated to providing community mental health services. Membership in your local branch of CMHA also allows you to enjoy membership both CMHA Ontario and CMHA National all for one annual fee.
Membership in CMHA Halton is a way for you to stay informed about our programs and services and special events. You will receive an invitation to join us at our Annual General Meeting held in the Fall each year. Perhaps you are interested in becoming an active member by becoming a CMHA volunteer or joining us for the numerous special events that we host annually

- If you use CMHA educational materials, membership will qualify you for a 10% discount on all National Office publications.
- As a member, you will qualify for a 10% discount when you register for any of our Public Education seminars.
- When you become a CMHA member, you become a member locally, provincially and nationally with just one annual fee.
- Membership is portable. Just contact your local CMHA office before you move and the new CMHA office when you arrive, and you will have a smooth transition.
- Free or discounted publications such as media releases, annual report
, and other materials, are yours for the asking. Our National Office will keep you in tune with the latest advances in Mental Health in Canada. - There are opportunities for personal development. You choose if you want to be an active member and volunteer your time, expertise, or good will.
- As a member, you can have a vote at the Annual General Meeting held each September.
