Justice Programs: Court Support: This services is a voluntary program which assists persons who have a mental illness and are court involved. It offers assistance in two ways. Firstly we assist those accused of minor criminal offences to be diverted out of the criminal justice system and referred instead to community mental health services. The goal is to minimize future involvement with the criminal justice system. Secondly we asist individuals with more serious charges to access mental health support while in the midst of court proceedings.

Release from Custody: This program provides clients with a mental illness, developmental disability or head injury, who are currently housed in a correctional facility, assistance to reintegrate back into the community in a safe and appropriate manner by developing individualized treatment plans and facilitating links to community resources.

Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST): This program provides a mental health crisis line and mobile intervention service to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal of the COAST team is to enable individuals in crisis to remain safely within their own environment, by providing a range of accessible services which include outreach assessments, telephone support, referrals and interventions to prevent further crisis.

Safe Beds Program: This program is a 24/7 short term residential support program for adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Dually Diagnosed Program: This program provides support to individuals with a dual diagnosis with a focus on those involved or at risk of being involved in the criminal justice system. The Dual Diagnosis Specialist brings service providers together to assist the individual in developing a Support Plan.

Concurrent Disorders ProgramThis program offers clinical support to COAST clients that are suffering with concurrent disorders as well as offering support to the community health and addiction service providers.

Psycho Geriatrics Program: This program provides linkage between the Halton Geriatric Mental Health Outreach Team and COAST with the goal of enhancing skills and knowledge for both teams to increase the capacity and professional response to seniors in need.
